Moderate Turks and Caicos Hotels

The moderately priced Turks and Caicos hotels listed below offer beautiful beaches and "luxury" type amenities without refinancing the house to pay for it!

Of course, prices are relative to the general average on the islands, which is expensive. But the pristine beaches and fabulous seclusion found on the Turks & Caicos is worth it!

Check out the descriptions below and start planning you sunny Caribbean beach vacation.

All of the Turks and Caicos hotels below are right on amazing Grace Bay Beach except Northwest Point.

Prices are winter rates / summer rates per night. The 10% government tax and 10-15% gratuity is not included. Some Turks and Caicos hotels require a minimum stay during peak winter months and summer is good for "multi-night" discounts.

Moderate Turks and Caicos Hotels

Club Med Turkoise:
$225+ :: 297 rooms :: All-inclusive, NO kids :: 2 restaurants, 3 bars, dance club, pool, dive shop, tennis, massage, flying trapeze, water sports :: 888-932-2582

Large, often crowded resort geared toward activities and partying for singles and couples. Older, more basic rooms than most beach-front Turks and Caicos hotels, but a good time if you like more action than relaxin!

Northwest Point Resort:
$240-850 / $196-540 :: multi-night discount :: 153 1-3 bdrm suites :: kitchens, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, DVD/CD :: restaurant, pool, jacuzzi, massages, snorkeling, kayaks :: diving, fishing, golfing, eco-tour packages :: ownership possible :: 649-941-8961

This comfortable condo-resort sits on a nice beach at the remote and undeveloped northwest end of Provo miles from almost all the other Turks and Caicos hotels (Amanyara is nearby) so you can really get away from it all but, you'll definitely want to rent a car for any sightseeing. Design and furnishing is new, very nice and pleasant, but not really in the luxury category.

ocean club beach picture Ocean Club Resort:
$260-1285 / $180-600 :: 86 Studio to 3-bdrm :: spa, wedding, honeymoon, golf, diving packages available :: kitchenettes, TV w/games, movies, VCR, safe, Wi-Fi, data-ports :: 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 pools, tennis court, gym, spa, dive shop, internet room, car rental, shops :: 866-646-5130/866-598-3002

Walk next door to the Provo Golf & Country club for a round or 5 on one of the Caribbean's top courses (rated #4 by Golf Magazine). Comfortably and tastefully decorated, but somewhat older suites. Not really "luxury" category... still nice. Large screened balconies are a BIG bonus.

Beach toys for kids, all water sports, boating and sailing excursions. Hammocks between palm trees are nice for a nap. Consistent management and quiet location away from much of the new development. Regular shuttles between sister property Ocean Club West with bigger pool and newer rooms half mile down the beach.

ocean club west Ocean Club West:
$260-1285 / $180-600 :: 88 Studio to 3-bdrm:: spa, wedding, honeymoon, golf, diving packages available :: kitchenettes, TV w/games, movies, VCR, safe, Wi-Fi, data-ports :: restaurants, bars, 2 pools, tennis court, gym, spa, dive shop, internet room, car rental, shops :: 866-646-5130/866-598-3002

Ocean Club West is the newer sister property that shares all amenities and vacation packages with the nearby Ocean Club (see above).

The two properties are very similar. OCW is more popular with families (kids) with a bigger pool that has fun channels around an island.

Gecko Grille at Ocean Club is the best restaurant although the Seaside Cafe at OCW is very good. Both resorts are an easy walk to golf, shops and more restaurants. Unfortunately, construction noise from new Turks and Caicos hotels next door has been a bit of a nuisance at OCW.

Reef Residences turks picture Reef Residences:
$385-650 / $275-450 :: 24 1-3 bedroom suites :: Multi-night discount :: All-inclusive package, wedding, honeymoon and family packages :: Dive shop, boat tours, spa, Beach Cafe restaurant, 2 pools, Wi-Fi internet :: 800 532 8536

These condos are new and nicely decorated, but lack distinctive style. The pool is small. The best thing about this Turks and Caicos hotel is that it is the sister property to Coral Gardens (a luxury resort) next door and shares all amenities including the truly excellent spa and the terrific snorkeling right off the beach.

Royal West Indies Turks Caicos Royal West Indies Resort:
$245-895 / $180-495 :: 60 studios to 2-bdrm suites :: Wedding, honeymoon, diving and golf packages :: Kitchens, TV, CD/DVD, washer/dryer :: 2 pools, hot tub, in-room spa treatments a la Spa Tropique, restaurant/bar, Wi-Fi (also computer in lobby), babysitting, tour desk :: 800-332-4203

Cozy resort with lush landscaping and large, free-form pools. Rooms are new with comfortable, colonial furnishings and large private balconies. Mango Reef is a small and casual restaurant/bar in a relaxed poolside setting with a large menu, very good food and reasonable prices. Free bicycles, snorkeling, hobie cat and kayak use.

The Sands turks caicos Sands at Grace Bay:
$425-1400 / $175-750 (closed September) :: 118 studios to 3-bdrm suites :: Kitchens, TV w/ movies, data ports, safes, hair-dryer, ironing board :: restaurant/bar, 2 pools, hot tub, spa, gym, internet room, laundry, babysitting :: tennis, snorkeling, bicycles, kayaks, windsurfer, hobie cat sailing and kids toys are free :: 877-777-2637

A big beach with many palapas and distinctive free-form pools connected by canals that meander through lush tropical gardens and grottoes are the highlights of this otherwise blandly styled hotel. Rooms are comfortable with large, screened balconies and uninspired decor.

Hemingway's is a popular and noisy casual beach front restaurant that is often very good, but sometimes not. Live music Tuesdays and Thursdays. Resort is popular with families (kids) and reasonably priced (in the off-season) considering all the amenities.
